I have officially decided that, as much as I love my Comparative Religions class (HUM380), I hate having to write a 5,000 word Thesis paper comparing and contrasting the theological differences and roots of Islam, Christianity, and Judaism.

I might go take a break and go to the gym for an hour or so and try to do something other than sit here and stare at this damned computer screen.

Well, so I was sitting here watching Major Payne on Comedy Central - cause there really wasn't much else on and my cell phone rings.

I look down at it and the screen says "Restricted", but instead of ignoring it like I usually do, I picked up the phone and said "Hello?"

Female voice on the other end says "Hi, this is xxxxxxxx from LAPD Recruiting, may I speak to John?"

"This is he. How're you doing?"

"Fine, thanks, and yourself?", she says.

"I'm doing good."

"Well, the reason I'm calling is to inform you that due to recent changes in recruiting and testing procedure, we have changed the re-test times from 12 months to 3 months."

In short, I passed all my other stuff, but didn't do so well on my panel interview. So, instead of waiting til October to redo everything all over again, I get to reschedule my Oral Interview tomorrow Woot!
